I'm Going to Call You Bride
Spiritual Building-Stone No. 194
Psalm 27:4-5, "For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his
pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me
up upon a rock."
Listen what the Prophet of God said about it:
I'm going to call you Bride. [1]
My new year's message is to the church elected in Jesus Christ, not just the church groups, but the Elect, the Lady, the Lady of the Church, Christ's Bride, that's who I'm addressing. [2]
But this is the
Lord Jesus Christ in the form of the Holy Spirit, moving among His people,
doing the same thing that He did when He's here on earth, identifying Himself
with His Bride, not the church.
There's a difference between the church and the Bride. Not preaching doctrine,
'cause I don't do that; but, to my humble belief, the church goes through
the tribulation, the sixth seal, to purify it (Rev. 6:12-17). That's right.
But the Bride don't; she goes in the rapture before that (Rev. 3:10). It's
time for the Bride to be called out; so now, I believe it's the calling-out
time. [3]
Now, the rapture
is only, this rapture that we're talking about is only for the Bride. Remember,
the Bible said, "And the rest of the dead lived not for a thousand years."
(Rev. 20:5-6). This great rapture... If there's not a rapture, friends, where
are we at? What are we going to do? What age are we living in? What promise
do we have? There is going to be a rapture. The Bible says there will be;
and it'll be only for the Elected, the elected Lady, the Bride in this day
that's pulled out, the church.
The very word "church" means "called out of." As Moses
called a nation out of a nation, the Holy Spirit is calling a Bride out of
a church. A church out of a church, members from every denomination making
up a Bride, Bride Tree, it's in the tape, the Bride Tree, a Bride coming out
called... And that's the one that the Bride Tree is the Bride, rather, is
the one that's going to be in the rapture, that alone, nothing but the Bride,
the elected one foreknown by God from the beginning (Rom. 8:29-30), the Father's
spiritual gene. [4]
And may I say this, as my own thought. One of these days... You're looking
for a lot to happen, that's happening and you don't know it. You're going
to say, "before the rapture of the Church..."
There's ministers that would disagree probably with this. Most all ministers
believe that the Church goes through the tribulation period, for purification;
I can't see it. The Blood of Jesus Christ is our purification (I John 1:7).
I believe that the church, the denominational church and the sleeping virgin,
does go through the tribulation, but not the Bride. There's a difference between
the church and the Bride. The Bride goes in the rapture (Isaiah 57:1). That's
where you all got mixed up there is in that.
Not say, telling you what you did or didn't; I'm not to say that, but just
where the way I see it. The first thing you know, you're going to say, "Why,
I thought there was supposed to be a rapture before the tribulation."
The tribulation's going to strike, and wouldn't it be awful if you heard say,
"It's already been and you didn't know it"?
"There'll be one in the field; I'll take one and leave one," just
somebody come up missing (Luke 17:30-36). There'll just be a very, very few
in that rapture, that'll be changed. The sleeping Bride, the Bride that's
been taken through the age, she'll come forth first (I Thess. 4:15-18). And
then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up with them, just one
here, and one there, and one over here. [5]
But you see, that sleeping virgin ain't receiving nothing anyhow. That's right. And remember, while they went to try to buy oil... (Matt. 25:1-13). You remember the Scriptures doesn't say they got it. But while they were out trying to buy it, there come a sound. What happened? All those virgins that slept rose, and trimmed their lamps, and went in to the supper (Is that right?), and the rest was left for the tribulation period (Right.), weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth. That's the church, not the Bride, the church. The Bride went in. There's a whole difference between the church and the Bride. Yes, sir. Went in to the wedding supper... [6]
Nowadays, here
in this gold state of Arizona, in the old... They got smelters now to smelt
out the iron and the pyrite, what's called fool's gold, and smelt that out
from the real gold by a smelter. In the old days the only way they had to
separate it was the beater beat the gold with a hammer, like the Indians beat
it. And the only way that the beater knew that he had the gold ready was when
he beat all the dross out of it. And he'd beat it, and turn it over, and beat
it, and beat it, until all the dross went out. When he seen his own self reflect
back into the gold, he knew then that all of the dirt, and the iron, and the
foreign matters was out of the gold (I Peter 1:6-7).
And that's the way God is trying to do His church, is to beat it till all
the creeds, and the nonsense, and, oh, all the world is beat out of it, till
it reflects back the Life of Jesus Christ (Heb. 12:5-11). Remember, the church...
I've just come off of the great meeting at home where the seven seals;
and that sixth one was the purification of the church. The church, of course,
goes through the tribulation period for its purifying. But the Bride is raptured.
There's a difference between the Bride and the church. [7]
You're beginning to reflect the works of Christ. But so many of us try to do the works of Christ before the reflection of Christ is in us. Now there's the trouble. We find those things happening. You know it. I know it. We see these stumbles along the road. We find the scrap heaps of ministers, of Christians, piled along the road. It is because they didn't go into it right. [8]
We're not living in a Pentecostal age; we're living in another age. See? We're not living in a Methodist age; we're living in another age. We're living on up here to the Bride age, the calling out of the church and getting it together for the rapture. That's the age that we're now living (Rev. 3:20). To my honest opinion that's exactly the truth. [9]
But did you ever notice what the real church is supposed to do? In the Old Testament, when they had the sacrifice they killed one bird, and put the blood of one upon the other, the dead mate. And it flew across the earth spreading the blood of the dead mate (Lev. 14:1-7). When the church becomes the real Bride of Jesus Christ, she'll carry the Blood of Jesus Christ with her, sprinkling it upon the ground, calling, "Holy, holy, holy, unto the Lord." (I Peter 1:2). Her atmosphere, her... Every bit of her will be of God. Her whole makeup will be of God. You can't expect nothing else. [10]
One day there'll come a blast from heaven, and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Them Old Testament saints back yonder who are waiting a blast forth and come out of there first and go into the resurrection; we'll drop right in line and going to the skies, these old mortal bodies changed and made like unto His own glorious body (I.Cor. 15:51-54). What a parade that'll be when it starts heavenward some of these days in that rapturing time that lays ahead, oh, proudly displaying the Blood of Jesus Christ upon their chests, the Message of God in the hour that they lived in. That's the hour that we're looking forward to, brother. [4]
Jesus said: "I'll
go and prepare a place for you, take you out of this pesthouse and deliver
you unto My Father's house." (John 14:1-3). Amen. There you are. Take
you out of this old earthly pesthouse...
He's gone to prepare a place, a perfect place, where no evil exist, no sickness
exists, no old age exists, no death exists. It's a perfect place calling you
to that perfection, and you have to be perfect to get there. The Bible said
so. Jesus said, "Be ye therefore perfect even as your Father in heaven
is perfect." (Matt. 5:48). And it's a perfect Kingdom, so it must be
a perfect people come; because you have to stand and be married to a perfect
Son of God; and you must be a perfect Bride. So how can you do it through
anything else but the perfect Word of God, which is the Waters of separation
that washes us from our sins (Eph. 5:26-27). Amen. That's right. The Blood
of Jesus Christ... Think of it. The dripping, bloody Word (Amen.), the Blood,
the Word of God bleeding Blood to wash the Bride in. Amen. Yes, sir. She stands
perfect, virgin, unadulterated; She never sinned in the first place. Amen.
She was trapped into it. See? There's the Father's house that He's gone to
prepare. [11]
