Who Are You?
Spiritual Building-Stone No. 163

II Timothy 1:9-10, “Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began …”

Listen what God’s Prophet said about it:

If you can ever get the scare out of the church and let them realize who they are and what they are positionally, healing will be the simplest message to be preached, or anything else. But you're scared. You're afraid. You don't realize that you're sons and daughters of God; and now, not we will be. We are now sons and daughters of God (Gal. 4:6), not way off in the future. And we won't some time in the future set in heavenly places; now we're seated in heavenly places, right now (Eph. 2:6). And now we are the sons and daughters of God. It does not yet appear what we shall be in the end, but we know we'll see Him, for we'll have a body like His (I John 3:2-3). We'll see Him as He is. [1]

And I wonder about that then if we'll go back to the beginning, all things begin in Genesis. And in Genesis, we find out that God created man for His fellowship. God loved to come down and to fellowship with His people. God, in the beginning... Genesis 1: "In the beginning, God..." That word there in Hebrew is "El-- Elah--Elohim, the all-sufficient One; the self-existing One; the strong One." And in Him was attributes to be Father; in Him was attribute to be Son; in Him was attributes to be Saviour; in Him was attributes to be Healer; in Him was attributes to be God. There was nothing but God and God alone.

Now, these attributes was in Him so that made it display something to worship Him. The first thing He made was angelic beings, and they worshipped Him; they could not fall. Then He put man in flesh; he fell by free moral agency, given the right to choose right and wrong.

But God, in the beginning (I guess) it was the most glorious time, when our gracious, precious God came down in the garden of Eden in the cool and would talk to Adam and Eve, and they would fellowship (Gen. 2:15-17). [2]

They were His beloved children. And they were put on the basis of free moral agency (I Tim. 2:3-4).

The old infidel has said many times, "Why would a just God do a thing like that, and had all the suffering that's gone through the age?" God didn't do that. Man did that himself. God wasn't willing for him to do that. "Well then, if God was omnipotent, why did He let it even happen? Why didn't He make man perfect?"

Because in the beginning there was nothing but God. And in God was attributes, His attribute to be a Saviour. We know it's so, He is a Saviour, and that was in Him. And there was nothing lost to be saved. In Him was attributes to be Father, and there was nothing He could father. In Him was attributes to be a healer. There was nothing lost, nothing sick. So the only thing He could do was make man on the basis of free moral agency knowing that he would do it. God didn't do it Himself; man done it himself.

And you're the same way this morning. You can accept life or turn life down. But God made man thus, that he'd--knowing he would do it, not willing that he should do it, but knowing he would do it, that it would display His attributes. So there's nothing out of time. Everything's ticking just exactly according to God's great timepiece. See? And this only displays His attributes, to select His children who really love Him and believe Him. And every man has an equal right. [3]

Now, remember, you say, "Well, we believe this, but we don't believe that." If you're married to Christ, Christ is the Word of God. In St. John the 1st chapter said, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." And the same was made flesh and dwelled among us. Christ was the living Word. He always was the Word; He's still the Word; He always will be the Word.

He was only the manifestation of the attributes of God, for He was the Son of God (Prov. 8:22-31), and any son is the attributes of his father. And just as you were in the genes of your father, in the body of your father when he was a young boy... You were in him, yet he could not have fellowship with you, because he didn't know you. But then through the bedding grounds of a mother, you were brought forth into the earth and become in the image of your father; then he could fellowship with you. And so were you sons of God and daughters of God before there even was a moon, stars, or a molecule (Job 38:4-7); you were sons and daughters of God. For you are only the physical manifestation of the attributes that was in God at the beginning. For there's only one form of Eternal Life, and that was you before... You don't know nothing about it; neither did you know when you were in your earthly father. But you're manifested in His image; in the image of God you are made (Gen. 1:27), and you were manifested for the glory and the fellowship of God (Eph. 1:3-6).

And therefore, as sure as your genes had to be in your father before your natural birth, your spiritual genes had to be in God, because you're an _expression of the attributes of His thoughts before the foundation of the world. That's right. No way around it. That's right. [4]

In the beginning of the creation of God when God begin to create and bring you into existence... You see, you started back there as a seed and worked down to where you are now. And then you were all in Christ. Then when Christ died, He died to redeem all of you. And you are part of this Word. And how can the Bible--all of it precept upon precept, line upon line, here a little, there a little, not one jot or tittle shall fail... How in the world can you, being part of that Word, disagree with the rest of it, or any part of it?

If that Holy Spirit in you makes you speak with tongues, looks back there and doesn't agree with the rest of the Word, then it's a wrong spirit. See? It's got to come from the inside, which is the Word from the beginning. [5]

But when you're born of the Spirit of God, then you are a son of God, and you always was a son of God, and you always will be a son of God (Gal. 4:6). There's no way to separate it, because you have Eternal Life. And eternal never did begin; neither will it ever end. [6]

If you are a son of God, and if I am a son of God, or a daughter of God, we were in God at the beginning. And when Jesus became the Fullness of the Word, then we were in Him, germ form. When He was crucified, we was crucified in His body. When He rose from the dead, we rose with Him. And now, since we have recognized it, now we set together with Him in heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Eph. 2:6-7). We, if we are sons and daughters of God, we are God's children; then we're attributes of God. Then we got Eternal Life. And God is the only Eternal Life there is. Then we were in Him from the beginning. And when Jesus became all that Word, then we were part of Him then. Amen. There you are. When that's in there, there's no devil, no powers, no nothing can ever move it. That's the tie post of the soul.

You can be anointed out here in this spirit, and desire, and do all these other things, but when it comes to this tie post to that Word, you'll never move from there. It'll hold right steady and true to that Word as it can be. Outside of that, regardless of what you do, you're still lost.

That Laodicean church age, naked, blind, miserable, don't even know it... (Rev. 3:15-17). See, it's not anointed, anointed with the real Spirit. See that Holy Spirit can fall upon a man in his spirit, but his soul is his germ. That germ is the Word. I don't care how much you preach, how well you do this, and how much you love... That's one of the inlets the spirit. You can't love with your body; you love with your spirit. That's one of the inlets. And you can love and even love God, and still not be right. You can cast out devils, and preach, and do these things, still not be right. Jesus said so; said many would come in that day (Matt. 7:21-23). That Word settles it. [7]

If you are a Christian now, a genuine predestinated seed (Luke 8:11; Matt. 13:37-38), you was in God before there was a... You always was in God. The germ of your life, which is a attribute of God, which was His thought...

And as long as you're seed inside growing, you have to produce just exactly what the seed said you would do (Gen. 1:12). That's exactly. It's His Word. He keeps His Word. He watches over It.

And if you wasn't in God... If you believe the message of the Bible, and the present message of the day, a vindication of it... The reason you're setting here, because you were predestinated to set here. You wouldn't have been here otherwise; you'd have been on the street, maybe drunk, some of you; and some of you out here and running around with some other man's wife; and you women out, would married, and run around with some other women's husband, or something like that. See? But you were predestinated to be here (Rom. 8:29-30). You can't help it. You have a Father; He's God, and you were a seed.

You was in Him there as a thought; now you are a person that can fellowship with Him. See? Like you was in your fathers at the beginning, but now you're sons and daughters, so you can fellowship with your parents. Now, we're sons and daughters of God, who can fellowship with our Father, God. See, it's just as beautiful. Don't you like that? Then you become like Him. And if we were sons, then you're attributes, and was in His form at the beginning.

Whatever Christ was, I am. What He is, I am. O God. If He's considered a fanatic, so must I be. If He was a Beelzebub by His works of His Spirit, I am too. Whatever He was, I am. Whatever He was, you are.

Now, He can fellowship with us and through us, and rest His Word with us. Which we are a part of His Word. If He is the Word, and we are part of Him, then we are part of the Word. And how can I deny I got a hand? No matter how much some science would say that I haven't got a hand; I got a hand. I know I got a hand. I use it.

And I know I got a God. I got a Saviour. I feel Him in my soul. I'm part of Him. Just what this Word says; that's what I am. And if I even deny one part of This, that'd be like denying I got an hand, an ear, an eye. I couldn't do it and remain a human being in my right mind; neither can I deny any of God's Word and remain in the right Spirit of God. I've got to take what the denomination says or what God said about it. See? You cannot do it. [8]

If you've got Eternal Life (John 5:24), you were in God before there ever was a world. You are a part, a son of God, an attribute of God. He knowed the very age you were coming. He predestinated you to that age to take that place, and no one else can take it. Care how many impersonations and things, you've got to be there, because He knew you'd be there. Now, you are made manifest; now you can fellowship with Him, and that's what He wants. He's longing for fellowship, to be worshipped. But if your life did not always was as an attribute in God, you're just a mimic of Christianity. See? There'll be millions and billions of them that'll just be mimics of Christianity. [9]

Now, the only way that you can be a son or daughter of God... Because you have to have Eternal Life... And there's only one form of Eternal Life, and that's God's Life. Only one form of Eternal Life, that was God. There to be a son of God, you had to be in Him always. The gene of your life, spiritual life tonight, was in God the Father before there was even a molecule. See? And you are nothing but the manifestation of the gene of Life that was in God as a son of God. Now, you're expressed, after His Word has come in you to light up this age.

You are expressing God's Life in you, because you are a son or a daughter of God. You get what I mean? You're setting in this church tonight, because your duty is to express God to this nation, and this people, and this neighborhood where you associate. Wherever you are, God knew that you would be here, because you have to be one of His genes or His attributes. You had to be. If you've got Eternal Life, then it always was Eternal Life. And God before there was a foundation of the world knew that you would be here. And when the washing of the water of the Word fell upon you, you was expressed in a being. Now, you have fellowship with your Father, God, just as you have with you earthly father. See? You are citizens of the King, not citizens, but you are children, sons and daughters of the living God if it be that the Eternal Life dwells in you (Rom. 8:16-17).

Now, then if it was, Jesus was the Fullness of God manifested. He was the Fullness of the Godhead bodily (Col. 2:9-10); therefore, when He came to the earth and was manifested in flesh, you were here in Him then, because He was the Word.

“In the beginning was the Word,... the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh and dwelled among us,...” (John 1:1-5,14-18).

The Word was made flesh; therefore, you walked with Him, when... You were in Him when He was on earth. You suffered with Him, and you died with Him; you was buried with Him, and now you're risen with Him and manifested attributes of God, setting in heavenly places, already raised, resurrected to new life and setting in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Oh, that means so much nowdays, church. That means so much to us to see ourself positionally placed in Jesus Christ. [10]

So you see, if you were in the foreknowledge of God, then you are becoming a part of God. And the only way you can be a son of God or a daughter of God, you had to be a part of God, and God isn’t complete without you. Has to be. That’s right, ‘cause there is One, only one resource of Eternal Life, and that is God, and Him alone has Eternal Life. See? Now, and you were a part of Him, insomuch that you’re an attribute, or in His thinking in the beginning. And that, because He thought of you in the beginning, it gives that little tug towards Him. That’s what has to be quickened. Some of them will never be quickened; they just don’t have it; that’s all.

Just like if you would put a grain of corn in the ground, … Ever how pretty it was, if it didn’t have the germ of life in it, it can never be quickened. But the germ of life has to be there first. [11]

Moses was in Him. Joshua was in Him. And if you are in Him, you was in Him before the foundation of the world, the family of God; you suffered with Him; you died with Him; you went to the cross with Him (Rom. 6:6); you raised with Him; and now you're still with Him, setting in heavenly places, reflecting the Message of the age to the world, the Light of the world. "Ye are the Light of the world." (Matt. 5:14-16). Because that you are in Jesus the Word, the part of the Word that's being manifested today, this day's Message, not Luther, Wesley, Pentecostal; but your Jesus, the reflection, that has come up into this. You can't go back to that; that's adding leaven to your holy Bread, that, "Man shall live by every Word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God in Its season." (Matt. 4:3). [12]

Now, let us all check our desires, and then you can see what kind of a filter you've been drawing through. Let's check, each one of us, here and out across the nation. Check your desires, what you want really in life. Check what you're fighting for. Check what you're here for. Check what you go to church for. What makes you... It's good to go to church, but just don't go to church only; that won't save you. See? Just check just a few minutes. Say, "Is my objective... What kind of a filter am I drawing through anyhow?" And if you won't cope with the Word of God, and your soul don't do it, then there's something wrong, for it shows up your taste, what kind of a life is in you. If it's a holy, discreet, honorable, it'll come out that way. If it isn't you've got another taste in you you're drawing from. That's exactly right. And if the taste is the Word of God and the will of God, then you know what's in you, what's drawing the taste. Shows you are a part of that Word. That Word is in you drawing from the Word.

What's it drawing? It's drawing through the Word, because you are a part of the Body of Christ of this age. And if that Word is in you, It can only draw through the Word the Spirit that quickens that Word that's in you (John 6:63; II Cor. 3:6). Just the Word alone won't live. That's the reason, "All the Father has given Me will come to Me (John 6:37), and if I be lifted up, I'll draw all men unto Me." See, see? The Father...

The part of the Body of Christ that's in the world, predestinated, put into the heart... Any man that's a real Christian, borned again today, knows since he was a little kid or a little girl, either, that there was something in you that hungered for God (Matt. 5:6). And you tried joining churches and everything else; it wouldn't work. What was it? It was that Word. You was hunting for a Filter, and one day It flashed before you; you seen Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever (Heb. 13:8). That satisfied the taste. See? 'Cause life was in you drawing. See the life in you is drawing; it's set on what desire you got here. You're pulling... You can't pull through this, and that, and the other; you've got to find that right Filter (God’s Filter, the Word of God), 'cause you're a thinking person.

The Word, if you are predestinated, you see It. There's no way to hide It from you. You look there and say, "Why, It's just so plain before my face; I'd look at It; there it is. I'm looking right at It. I see It. Here It is the Word, every word, just word by word, living out." Then there's a taste of Eternal Life that you want. And when you breathe through that... What can come through that, God's Filter? Nothing but the Spirit, no world at all, no unbelief at all. It's God's Filter. And when you breathe through that, nothing can get through that but the Holy Ghost.

Now, you got the evidence of the Holy Ghost. See? A holy man or woman's taste, they want to live, they got Eternal Life. And because this Word's quickened to them, they live.

And I know, whether we are or whether we are not, I believe that we are... But if we are not, there's somebody in the world today that's part of the Body of Christ; and It will live only by the Word of God, every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God for this age that we're living in now.

Notice that Word cannot deny Itself. Then it's the desire. It's a desire of what? What made you desire It in the first place? Because down in your soul there was a predestinated seed which was Eternal Life always laying in there--always was in there. "All that the Father has given Me will come to Me (John 6:37-39,44). There isn't any of them going to be lost."

"A thinking man's taste..." When a thinking man hears the Word of God, "My sheep hear My Voice, a stranger they will not follow" (John 10:27-29), for down in there is Life, and Life connects with Life. Sin connects with sin, and sin is so hypocritical until it thinks that it's saved when it isn't saved. It's in the very depths of hypocrisy. [13]

In God’s thinking; God, the great Spirit. In the beginning, before there was a beginning, He was God, and did you know you were in Him then? If you are a Christian now, you was in Him then.

And then, if that be so, the whole Godhead bodily shaped up in the Person of Jesus Christ. And then when Jesus died at the cross, I died with Him, for I was in Him then; for He was the fullness of the Word, manifested, knowing that we would be manifested later. And we were at Calvary with Him. We went in the grave with Him. And we raised with Him in His resurrection. And now we’ve ascended, by His Spirit, to the Throne of grace, sitting together in Heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Always! [14]
